Salute: Akshay Kumar shows generosity again, donates Rs 2 Crore

Bollywood Khiladi Akshay Kumar has donated Rs. 25 Crore to PM CARES fund as country fights against the coronavirus pandemic. Once again he has donated Rs. 2 Crore to Mumbai Police Foundation proving his generosity.

On Monday, Mumbai Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh tweeted about the contribution of Akshay Kumar and thanked him.

“Mumbai Police thanks @akshaykumar for contributing Rs 2 Crore to the Mumbai Police Foundation. Your contribution will go a long way in safeguarding the lives of those who are committed to safeguarding the city – the men and women of Mumbai Police,” tweeted Mumbai Police.

In response to the thankyou tweet of Mumbai Police big hearted superstar Akshay saluted to head constables Chandrakant Pendurkar and Sandip Surve, who lost their lives while doing their duty due to COVID-19 pandemic. Akshay also requested his fans to contribute to the foundation.

“I salute @MumbaiPolice head constables Chandrakant Pendurkar & Sandip Surve, who laid their lives fighting Corona. I have done my duty, I hope you will too. Let’s not forget we are safe and alive because of them,” Akshay tweeted in response to Mumbai Police tweet.

Earlier Akshay Kumar also donated Rs 3 Crore to Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) for PPE kits.
Akshay Kumar has proved his generosity by donating huge amounts to PM CARES, BMC and Mumbai Police Foundation in this national crisis.
