Australian cricketer Shane Watson has said that trusting the ability of the players and keeping faith in them is the secret of the success of the CSK team and this is what keeps the Chennai Super Kings apart from the rest of the teams.
Shane Watson said many big things during a live session on the Instagram handle of Chennai Super Kings on Saturday . 
Shane Watson said that you do not score runs in 10 matches and despite that you still play in the team. Thanks to captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni and coach Stephen Fleming for showing confidence and faith in me. Watson said that if there had been another team, you would have been dropped from the team, but Chennai Super Kings kept trusting me .

Watson was also part of Shane Warne’s Rajasthan Royals champion team in the first season of IPL in 2008.  
Watson smashed 117 runs off just 57 balls chasing 189 runs in the final against Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2018. His innings included 11 sixes and 8 boundaries. Shane Watson single handedly took CSK to victory.
Watson said that “I was batting well during the last IPL season but was not able to score big. I was feeling that I would be dropped of the team but that did not happen. Captain Dhoni and Coach Fleming both trusted me and it changed everything. MS Dhoni has the power of leadership. I will always be indebted to MS Dhoni and Stephen Fleming.”
