In the final match Pakistan needed 13 runs in the last over and Pakistan’s captain Misbah-ul-Haq and Mohammad Asif were present at the crease. MS Singh Dhoni had two options in the form of Harbhajan Singh and Joginder Sharma for the last over. MS Dhoni caught the ball to Joginder and the entire cricket world was stunned.
Joginder threw the first ball wide. Opposition team now needed 12 runs off 6 balls.
Joginder bowls the dot ball as the first legal delivery of the over. But Misbah hit a six on the second ball of the over. It seemed from here that the match went beyond the reach of Team India. However something came about after that became history.
So the hero of the 2007 T20 World Cup is doing his job as a real world hero in 2020 and serving the country and the people in the midst of this epidemic.
